Rich is great guy. However he did get severely punished by Silva and I don't think he can beat him in a rematch either. Silva is a very dangerous man.
I was very disappointed that Rich didn't react to the clinch better. And before anyone jumps on me and asks if I've ever been in a Mui Thai clinch, I will say yes I have and if a MT trained fighter starts a clinch w/ me I try to get my arms inside before he gets control. Once someone with that experience gets a good Thai clinch....well, we've all seen what happens.

I was rooting for rich but for some strange reason I knew he was going to lose when he came in he didn't look as confident he looked tired, then he had an eye jammie and a cut and he was recovering from surgery im sure he didn't want to fight but the fans were callin him a coward. So all that hype he had no choice but to fight him but hes definetely getting a rematch I don't know anybody else that can stop Silva except for a well condition and confident Rich Franklin and he will be expecting the clinch this time around.
