belt grab

i need to know the most efficient way to get out of a belt grab.

I know to work up the opponents arm and create shock, or hook their elbow with mine & swing em around, but I DONT like having anyone grab my belt and I just want to know the most efficient way to get them off me.

As an aweful newby of a judoka, I can't give you a good answer from that train of thought. However if someone (outside of judo) grabbed my belt, I would elbow him in the face on his grabbing side. Obviously, he has a snowballs chance in hell of defending against it, since that arm is preoccupied with the belt.

EDIT: If that doesn't work, I would repeat the process until it does.

whiplash has a little shameless behaviour in the past
there is a jacare instructional that shows you how to remove a hand grabbing on your lapel or your belt...

its basically using one of your arms as a lever and the other as a fulcrum increasing your mechanical advantage..

i know its tough to describe without pics but the instructional is available here...
