I'm not trying to reassure anyone about not using groin kicks. I am just saying a palm strike (or punch) to the chest area (more specifically the heart region) if far more lethal.

gluteal cleft, ya i agree... mostly groin kicks are grazes, we're pretty much built to protect our repoductive organs (Darwin ftw). i mean ive been punched in the balls during a fight BUT it wasnt solid and i proceeded to land 3 uppercuts. if you have an opening for a good solid kick to the balls, thats gonna be fukin devastating.
Unless it was a knee to the balls, I doubt a kick could be "fukin devastating." It'd hurt to an incredible extent, yes, but not enough to put your body at risk.

plainly put 'guy', if we had a game of shot for shot, and i was kicking you in the balls, and you u palming me in the chest... you'd get pwned, anyone would. unless your a shoalin preist who's practiced iron groin technique and dim mak palm strike techniques since a child.
Did you even visit www.leern2speel.com? I would recommend doing so.

Don't think this is just palming...it's also punching. I don't mean any random placed chest punch, I mean a direct hit to where the heart is located. 2 or 3 powerful punches to the heart area is lethal.

oh ya and as for lasting affect, how about never having children, thats a good one (and please dont give me that novice crap about killing someone with a single strike to the heart, u watch too many kung fu movies)
Too many kung fu movies? I haven't even watched a kung fu movie before. It just takes common sense and logic to figure out that a hit to the heart is more lethal than a kick to the ol' groin.

not to appear gay or gross but I have heard of someone who was caught in the n/s position and to get out he put his finger up the guys ass. dirty fighting does have its place. especially if the guy is out to hurt you.

If it didn't happen, it wouldn't be in the NSAC's list of fouls for MMA... #7, if I recall.

Uhm, I actualy know two guys who got a ball removed after getting it kicked stuck in the belly somewhere. And from what ivé heard from at least one of them it felt like hell was having a party inside. So don't say groin shots in a fight aren't that dangerous or painfull. And a thai clinch with a hard upward shin kick will probably do more damage than anything.

As for the palm strike. Just practice punching like you would with your fists. Only now with an open hand. The palmstrikes are effective when you land them on the temple and when you strike em dead in the face, But i think it is most effective whe you land them on the soft spots. Aspecialy the liver strike like BR demonstrated in pancrase can be devastating because it is way easyer to dig your palm into the side then it would for a fist. Important is that you don't push "trough" but "up" when driving the palm into the side. Causing the liver to get more shocked then just driving it into the other organs. Watch some old bas rutten fights and you'll see what I mean.

As far as palm strikes go in my opinion your better off going to the nose. You first mentioned this about a woman striking an attacker. with the height difference and the power difference unless you have a very tough girl a palm strike to the chest isnt going to do much and the neck is a tough place for her to hit if he is looking down at her. If she was to slam her palm right under the attackers nose in an upward position that attacker is going to be all messed up and lose interest. Now work this into a combo with a shot to the balls and you have one girl I would not want to mess with
