Chi is however you harness, channel and unleash your own focus and energy. I don't think there is any absolute definition.

I can say that I think I'm "letting it flow through me" for want of a better phrase, when I'm sparring or when I have to do board breaks for rank.

For anyone who's been following this thread, I sent Bloodlusting a PM with what I thought was the issue. He said I was wrong so I tried again & got the exact same thing (pretty strong on both occasions btw). In his last reply, he said I was wrong again then gave me all sorts of mathematical statistics as to how I could be right.. pretty much what I was expecting to be honest. Coincidentally he hasn't been on since. (4/8/08)

Cheers for your honesty on this post, Zender.

It often takes bad stuff like depression to get people to jump into religion or spirituality like chi. If life is going well, theres less need to introduce something so different.

Chi as i see it, is focused energy. Like Bruce Lees one inch punch, he focuses on that one hand and primes his arm with energy (bloodflow and focus).

People who are singularly focused on winning, not thinking about what they are having for a celebratory dinner or caring whether they wont look pretty after a fight, these guys are gonna have more focused energy or chi in regards to the fight.

And those boys on the video? Shiii, i can do that stuff with my hypnosis training - usually the 'victim' is submissive to your needs, so you focus on what they do and they pick it up subconsciously.

Anyway, its my opinion, might not be reality.

I am definitely interested.
Who wrote this book?
What is the author's name?
Who published it?
And more importantly,do you know where I can get a copy?
Thanx
Appreciate it.

With all due respect I was far from desperately looking for answers to life. My concern was just trying to chill my want to top myself.

I'd heard about all the healing stuff but that was all hairy fairy shit to me at the time, & when I said I'd give it a go I was joking but the feelings I got were too extreme to be made up!!! Since then the amount of "coincidences" are more comical than the belief itself but then skeptics would like to put that stuff down to mathematical probability, as per usual..... probably....
