^ That's why i want to learn MT... the kicks and everything look like they'd work wonders. seems like its an awesome striking art to learn and that with BJJ that ill be learning too, that would just end anything if it did go to the ground.

Opportunities like this are extremely rare for me.

Fighting dudes on the street I prefer to keep them away. Dudes come rushing in then T-Kick him in the gut. People never expect that shit and if you do it right they hurt like a bitch. That or put one on the front of their knee. Like most of this thread says, keep good lateral movement and pick you spot. If dude's just swinging wild with his chin out like msot of them do, a nice straight right will plant them on their ass.

My favorite is to use upper body clinch throws. Hell, even a trained fighter has a tough time with those.

Other than that, I suggest using some headbutts and use sheer brutality if it is a tough SOB.

I usually find the best way to fight a non fighter is to get naked grease yourself up and then chase him down. hehe

But seriously I just make sure I dont stay still keep my feet moving and my head because he will statistically throw a hard right so watch out for that unless you know he is a left then watch for the left and block it. I personally make sure I hit the guy first because the average non-fighter isn't used to getting in the face. Its all about not giving your opponent room to breathe and not laying off him because he isn't experienced in fighting he wont know what to do under-pressure.

The last guy I fought curled up into the fetal position well it kinda did work because I stopped hitting him and broke out laughing. Also a triple somasault drop kick is effective lol

Favourite Fighters:

1) Nick Diaz
2) Fedor Emelianenko
3) Chuck Liddell
4) Forrest Griffin
5) Tyson Griffin

If you've got any boxing at all a dude throwing haymakers is a piece of cake. Pivot.. move laterally, keep your guard tight.. circle away from their power hand.. and throw your own punches straight..

LW: Penn, Diaz
WW: Alves, Serra
MW: Lawler, Bisping
LHW: W. Silva, Griffin

first, ya walk away because once you know you can beat them -- what's the point in risking your freedom for the validation?

Then, if they attack you... either work your angels or if you have any grappling experience take them down, mount... and wait for them to give up. They always do.

The point is to do as little damage as possible without getting hurt yourself in this situation. whenever possible... just walk away. You've got nothing to prove once you know you will win.

j/k... kinda.

But I always talk my way down from fights. I've even let people come close to hitting me. Security'll toss your ass out and the cops can arrest you. No real need to prove it unless your safety or someone else's truly depends on it.
