What are your biggest problems in your MMA game?

Hi
I am just new to this forum and thought I would start off by asking for some help.
I recently compiled all my BJJ, MMA and Muay Thai techniques and training methods into a database a while back so that I could put my teaching curriculums easier.
In doing that I decided to put together some instructional DVDs for my assistant students and fighters. This resulted in me putting together a course for any one interested focussing on MMA and street effective self defense.
Just to be sure I have covered these thoroughly I thought it would be prudent to ask as many people as possible worldwide in the fight game.
If you have a problem that you would like me to include and address inthis extensive study could you please drop by my questionnaire at

You have a doctorate in what exactly? If you don;'t mind me asking of course.

I know this looks like blatant advertising on his part, and i shouldn't even bother bumping these types of posts, but i am genuinely curious about his response.

Thank you for the reply
Advertizing? No, just a genuine question so that I can help my own students and others if they are interested.
I have a doctorate in Molecular Biology, University of Otago.

If I were you I'd be careful, "Ultimate Fighting" is a registered trademark of the UFC... it'd suck to get sued.

I'm going to try and do this without sounding like I'm accusing you of being a fake. You have a good website and a program that, for all intents and purposes, seems legitimate, but I should say, honestly, it seems a bit pompous for you to come into the forum and, with your first post, inquire into the skillsets of fighters, touting yourself as an expert.

You could be the Helio Gracie of your generation, but you don't look good when you do that.

That said, I surfed through the little mini-vids on your site. I didn't find anything particularly wrong with the thai tutorials, because my understanding of thai is fairly basic as far as the material you were covering (I'm more of a clinch guy), but I do think it says something that you didn't point out anything I haven't heard before. that, perhaps, may just be because it's a basics video.

I'm not sure who the BJJ instructor in your video is, but there are some problems in the guys technique. He misses some fairly basic details in the choke (and I'm not talking about the fact that he doesn't sink it in), as well as the fact that his transition to the armbar. His transition off the back is alright, but not astounding for me.

I'm not trying to question your rank, only saying that you should do a little more on here to establish your expertise. Otherwise, people won't really take you seriously.

EDIT: I'm only telling you this because your site seems legitimate and you posted a response in an attempt to defend yourself. You should know that, in fairness, I'd normally just ban you as a spammer for this kind of post.

ufcs advertizing is getting to be way to f*ing much
the octagon is just a calgue of logos
the area were you enter is the harly davidsonn prep point, every replay is brought to you by something.
the fighters have to have 1000 sponsors so they can make a living and a ufc ppv has 45 minutes of ads
gimme a break

but there are lots of other things that cna be changed
