aight so ive been doin bjj for a few month and want to start workin on my stand-up. A gym by my house offers vale tudo and shou shu.
I was just wonderin if anyone has any experience with these styles and their usefulness in the cage.

uhh dude vale tudo isnt a style of anything...it literally translates as anything goes....


san shou is good, but dude youve only been grappling a few months, so your prolly no where near good enough at that to need to start other things.

I am assuming you googleg shou shu. I am not trying to bash the style or anything. It just seems that the Shou shu school are the epic McDojos.

lol yeah i did. which is kinda sad, because seriously if i havent heard of it, its rare.

and then i looked at it, and was like...oh...kung fu that thinks its fighting, and great 14 belts thats cool...which is prolly the cause of the mcdojo

i thought he just typo'd san shou which is actually a really good striking form especially for mma. (usually people teach thai and jodo and call it san shou, which is fine)

i am getting a sweet vale tudo tat on my leg later this year though, lol.
