Help needed with my standup

Ok so ive been boxing for about 3 years and doing muay thai for about a year and i actually have very good striking but ive hit a plateau and havent seen too much progression over the past few months. I was wondering if anyone knows any good drills i could work on or if i just need to put in more time i train about 1-2 hours a day. any help would be appreciated thank you

First off, are you training for mma competition or muay thai, or what? I say a combo of mitt work, bag work, sparring, and watching lots of good strikers and looking for new tricks is the best way to develop good striking. Try sparring with lots of different body types and get tips from any good stand up guys and coaches you know. Hope that is somewhat helpful.

Figure out what you could do better with and concentrate on doing better with that. If you've got bad footwork then make a point to concentrate on having good footwork during sparring. If you're bad at striking from the inside then make it a point to get inside and practice striking from there. You get the point. There're so many different facets of striking, I'm sure there's something you could zero in on and focus on improving. Remember, practice isn't a passive process. It's not 'go spar and you'll be better.' You always have to be thinking about what you could've improved on, what you want to improve on and how you can do that.

"I don't want them to like me, because when I'm in the ring, punches fly to the face. It is not a tenderness time. I am not falling in love. And he knows that when the fight starts I am kicking faces."
