Haha thanks guys! I had to take a little time off because my shin was bruised pretty bad. I told my coach and he started to laugh and then he called me a vagina because I said my leg hurt lol. He made me train through the pain. Guys I train with were like, "Holy shit!" and Ben told me that it wasn't necessary to kick so damn hard lol. He told me that I could do a normal power kick and it would still have killed the guy. Good times, it's a story that will stick with me for a while. Now only if my damn shins would condition already...

I wish my teacher would call the guys in my class vaginas if they said something hurt. I'd pay to see that. Especially since one of them is his son, and this kid b!tches and complains constantly while letting everyone know he thinks he's the most skilled person in the school.

Of course, it's a taekwondo school that I go to, and everybody who hates on it obviously knows everything about it and has been to every TKD school in the world.

I don't know much about TKD but apparently I was doing some TKD moves in grappling yesterday??? I was driving my knee into this guy's thigh because he was not letting my foot go (size 15 big ass foot) from half guard. He was like, "Calm down with the TKD techniques." I'm not sure what that means.. Ben was a TKD black belt before getting into wrestling and subsequently MMA. TKD guys seem to pick up Muay Thai faster than average joe's.

Yeah I love the fact that my coaches are so comfortable with talking shit to me and goofing off. I'm one of about 5 in 80 or so students that the coach will kick in the stomach when we bridge, hit in the leg with pvc pipe if I'm slacking, or smack in the face if my guard comes down. It sounds kind of stupid that I'm "proud" of being picked on but to me it's a show of respect. My coaches feel like they can treat me like an old school Thai student. Good stuff.

haha im beggining to feel the same way. when i learn new techniques i get a sudden urge to try them out in a street fight. i never actually start a fight though, but one day some unlucky fella is going to feel the full effect of my training

wouldn't have thought you'd get a bruise from kicking someone in the thigh. its pretty much softer than most kick boxing bags, he must have had some boney legs or something.
