Sledge hammer. Do your best to hit the tire as hard as you can. Hitting an actual hard object you want to smash is best - if you can get that opportunity.
Don't hit your foot.

A box of Exlax will make you you explosive. A C4 dildo will make slightly more.

Yes, I was trying to find something obnoxious to say but I just couldn't do it.

Edit: Okay wait, I got it! Ask North Korea! (Eh, I tried.)
Re-edit: See! My North Korea joke does make sense, I'm just a month ahead of my time. Take that Mickkelly! In the butt!

Aye, islamic dudes are pretty darn explosive, especially in the Middle East. Joke ends here.

Just keep punching, either a hard bag, or a wall bag. Other than that you can *test* your explosiveness on a partner, just give him a chest protector, relax, and than bamm! Throw a punch at it. Repeat. The reactions of your m8 will be a good indication as to how well you are doing.
No weightlifting thou, you may punch harder, but your arms will slow to a crawl. Lots of punches to a bag, thousands a day if you are serious, a few hundred if you just wanna condition yourself.

I disagree, as long as you are weight lifting for explosiveness it will work. Everytime you start a rep, you start from zero not as a recoil from the previous rep.

Pin presses are an amazing example of training your fast twitch reflex muscles. You place a bench inside a squat rack with the safety bars set right above your chest. The bar rests on the safety bar. I would start @ 25% of max weight just to get used to it, then move up as necessary. Lay on the bench and do a bench press but explode up with it and lower it back to the rack slowly. Repeat. This works the starting point of a punch which is where the explosive part comes from. You can do these for other lifting exercises to build explosiveness.
