How to be more Explosive?

Hi guys,
I wanted to know what exercises you can do to have more explosive punches. I know the best way to be explosive is to train on the heavy bag, but does anyone have any specific exercises/routines that increase power and explosiveness?
Thanks in advance.

I heard shadow boxing with weights would help with that.

Yes, I was trying to find something obnoxious to say but I just couldn't do it.

Edit: Okay wait, I got it! Ask North Korea! (Eh, I tried.)

well your wrong about the heavy bag thing...

the best way to be explosive is honestly to have the genetics

but doing excercises most commonly known as explosives (hang cleans etc) will likely make you more explosive..really any wait lifting done right will...

but in boxing the most important thing is training the technique so that your kinetic linking is perfect, making you as power as you can be, then the speed will come.

To become more explosive you have to make sure you have the right posture and movement.

Make sure you are using your waist when you are punching.
Make sure your foot lands on the floor when you step at the same time your hand is connecting with the intended target.

Be sure to remember that speed is power. The best way to increase speed is to try to punch faster.

A great exercise would be to hang a sheet of paper in front of you and practice hitting it.

doing pushups and shadow boxing with bands, pin presses work really well and just changing your lifting technique. Checkout www.menshealth.com they have alot of them both with and without use of equipment. Basically it is training the small twitch muscles.
Also Brock Lesnar does alot of explosive power training. Unfortunitely though genetics does play a role and you will only get so far training this way, still worth it though.
