Ahaha, The Sweaty Triangle! xD

Ehh, I don't think it would matter much in a street fight.
Most people don't really examine stances and just throw punches. (in a street fight)

Yes i have, come to San Jose Cali and you will see, a bunch of trained fighters here ever since Shamrock and Cung Lee came into the scene. MMA fighters can get beat on the street too, unlike the cage there are no rules, no rounds, no people to clean the blood and sweat off, and no referee. This one guy who was trained got beat because he didnt expect mass joint manipulation. Another trained guy got beat because of a kick in the face from doing a leg lock. There are weakness in MMA fighters like every other fighter.

yikes! what a thread.

I don't know a whole lot about standup fighting, but I know a good straight right does the trick against southpaw. Give that a go.

If it doesn't work, use leg kicks on that lead leg and fight an orthodox fighter.

Dr. Johnson giving you some pretty thought provoking lessons right here

lol...i tend not to expect the unexpected either.

On a real note...if the other person knows what they are doing, they will have possibly trained for this and do it themselves. If they have not, then probably any time is good. Just watch rocky..fight normal the whole fight, then the last 30 secs switch it up and knock out apollo creed

Me being a south paw, yes straight rights come in and you cant see them very well, but you tend to expect it. If you can get the proper anlge to it, like a half upper cut, half hook, thats very easy to miss. You cant see the hand dip down because of your left glove in your face and it is hard to anticipate. But on the other hand, It is also a very easy punch for me to land on a rightie
