War Wounds
So I was just in a fight. I won on points, but got pretty messed up anyway. Thre of myfingers are good and jammed. One of my knees is so purple it might be confused with Barnie's and I may have broken a finger.
And it dawned on me I don't see many posts about war wounds recieved in the cage. And I think any man--or woman--who can win a fight deserves to brag about their injuries, just a little. So please! Have at it!

In my first MMA fight I sprained both my thumbs in the first round, it was really painful, so after that it there were no more hooks thrown by me in the entire fight. I'm not even sure that they have healed up properly because some times I'll catch one on a pad or an elbow in training and I'm just like ****!

My right shoulder got dislocated about 10 days ago by a kid who I later found out has a history of having no control and hurting his sparring partners. It was my 2nd judo class.
I have been thrown many, many times before by bigger and stronger kids, and I know when someone has control and when they don't. I'm babying it, I did point spar last night, but that is light contact and I didn't use my right hand.
I can't go back to the amerijitsu grappling I normally do or judo till after the new year, which is killing me.
Probably I can do pad work in another week or two. *hopes* I could do it now, I just might not be a good pad holder on my right side.

The three worst injurys I've had where....
1. Fracturing my orbital when sparring, the worst part was i didn't know anything was wrong with it until i thought my nose was broken because when i pushed down on the area that hurt i could feel something move...
2. Getting my elbow hyperextended in a latteral toss, kid had double overs and went for it...i sat my hips back and his arms slid down to my elbow and POP... gross feeling...
3. I was sparring and threw a big leg kick at the same time as the other kid... my shin landed on his knee and i thought i broke my leg, i hit the ground and before looking asked someone to tell me if my leg was ok... I just had a giant lump and couldn't walk on it for the rest of the weekend... I hate checking kicks now

I've got problems with both of my knees mainly due to 11 years doing Muay Thai (but I was also a floorlayer for 5 years so that didn't help).
In my last fight I popped my shoulder out because I over extended on a hook, this still troubles me every now and then, usually after going from skipping straight into press/push ups.
Blocking/checking a kick on the ankle is not nice either, I blocked high because it looked like a body kick coming in but the cheeky shit switched halfway and brought it into a low kick, I didn't react in time meaning I couldn't put weight on my leg for the next 3 or 4 days.
I've also had tonnes of stupid little injuries which never get chance to heal unless you take a few weeks out of training but anybody that trains very regularly will know about that. Things such as sore shins, bruised ribs, lumps and bumps everywhere but hey we're in contact sports and these injuries are 100% going to happen. Most of the time I just train through injuries, I'm still training at the minute with both of the damaged knees, my specialist is suspecting MCL,ACL or Meniscus tears to one or both knees and I also have imflammation in my cartilage at the moment.
The worst injury I have had, in regards to pain, which is related to the sports and also work is Tenosinovitus and Tendonitus in my right wrist, trying to train through that was hard work and extremely painful because I could barely punch or even do press/push up's, for a while I just resorted to switching to a southpaw stance and working on my left hand.
All of these are MT related as I haven't competed in MMA yet, not going to bother until I'm confident in my BJJ.

Jammed pinky
Busted thumb
Cut on lips and forehead (not major)
I tore up something in both my wrists
Almost got my back broken by some huge ******* idiot. His take on RNC is sit on my back and yank back my head even if its not under the chin. Hes a lot bigger than me and I guess he though he could just power his way through it. It works cuz I got seriously scared for my back. I really hate moron who goes all out in practice. end rant
Just the minor stuffs.

lost a bit of hearing in my right ear due to a wild hook. I was deaf in that ear at the moment when he connected. I rushed him after that because it scared me and I clinched him, held him down and uppercut after uppercut after uppercut till he went down.
