hey guys im new to this forum and had a question to make
i really want to make it to becoma a pro fighter but i have a kinda big nose to block what can you guys give me tips on and how do i loose weight to become more muscular and ripped looking i weigh 134 i want to drop to 125 any tips thanks guys |

i boxed for 7 years and got my nose broken 5x, its not really that big but its no pug nose either ;P it hurts but you get used to it and by the 3rd time or so i could just pop it back myself and it didnt hurt nearly as much. GL!! |

http://www.mmaforum.com/mma-newbie-section/ Anyway like Intermission said, keep your hands up and keep your eyes open. One huge mistake is when someone is about to get hit, they close their eyes. This usually leads to them getting caught somewhere along the way in a flurry. Just train to always keep both hands up and eyes open. If your right hand is throwing, your left hand is up guarding. If your hands aren't punching, they are protecting your face. For losing weight, I would do a lot of cardio exercises. You can lift low weight if you want but I would stay away from then. Make sure you are burning more calories than you are putting in. Eating protein will help your workouts. There is a bunch of workout systems for losing weight.
