I have to disagree with the person who said to grapple with him. He is bigger then you and will not have to use as much technique due to the size difference.

If you have been grappling for a LONG time then maybe or if you guys are in it and you see he sucks then choke him out.

My advice, first get it out of your head that you are going to fight with him. That way you will stop attracting situations with him to you.

Second, work on your hands and boxing a lot. If this guy is a bully (which he might be) a good cross to the face will definitely shake him up and make him rethink the whole situation. Stick and move.

Also, if you are training and this guy is someone of the street the skill difference will be apparent very fast as will the conditioning. The longer the fight goes on the more it is to your advantage.

Right now just train train train.... as your confidence builds less and less of these people will appear until none at all.

and for all of you people suggesting him to grapple ... grappeling on the street is by far the stupidist thing any one can do and thats coming from a grappeler. your assuming that no one is going to jump in which is something you just cant risk. In the real world its not a 1 on 1 fight you have to worry about other people coming in.

Also when your on the ground every one is not going to fight the way a grappeler fights and unless your used to fighting people that dont know how to grapple you might actually be at a disadvantage because your limiting yourself. Like I said fight dirty. WHats going to happen when you put him in a submition. You put him in an arm bar and you assume he gives up and you win but he could end up trying to fight again. Your only real option grappeling wise is a choke because you dont want to be liable for anything.

If I were you and I had to fight a much bigger opponent. I would fight dirty because in all honesty martial arts are dirty. All this sport application takes away from the real purpose of it which isnt to compete but to survive. Dont fight him like an mma fighter because this isnt a sport. Giving advice as if it were a sport is stupid.

Thats why all of these boxers go out and try to fight on the street and get their asses kicked because some one just takes them to the ground kicks or pulls some shit that they dont know and they get pissed because they werent playing by their rules.

In a street fight you know how I escape a pin? **** bridge and roll finger to the eye and roll. If I ever get stuck in a bad position I will shove my thumb in some ones eye on the street. I will pull your hair out, I will bite, I will punch you in th throat and attack vitals.

Id love for some of the people that say oh thats not fighting fair to tell that to the people who created these martial arts. Tell that to Jiu Jitzu practioners from feudal japan who created the art that and they will laugh in your face. Martial arts were made to fight not for sport. They were made to fight wars and to survive. If this punk wants to fight then dont fight him like your playing a game fight him like your trying to survive
Great advice. It is a fight, not a competition. Do what you have to do to win.

A good fight to watch is Ali Foreman one, the very first 5 seconds. The bell rings and Ali walks right up and gives Foreman a cross. It is the best way to deal with a bully. They don't ever think anyone will hit them and it shocks their whole world when someone does.

get 1 or 2 of your buddies(make sure they can fight) together for backup and go kick his ass. don't let him start the fight with you because then he'll have the advantage. surprise the dude when he's not ready and beat the shit out of him. he'll be scared shitless and won't bother you again after that.

Your hardest kick to the nuts, chances are he thinks he's gonna have an easy time kicking your ass and will be too cocky to think your gonna kick him in the nuts. Then a knee to the face, and when he drops to the floor a kick to the face or ribs depending how much you hate him.

Then throw him a bit of smack talk and walk away

Id always go for a kick to the nuts at a medium to short range, maybe when he gets in your face or whatever. Or a knee to the nuts, knee to head and a few kicks when he's on the ground.

Hey try my advice. I have fought bigger guys all my life. However, during Highschool wrestling came really easy to me and becasue i wieght like 100 pounds and was full of energy. However i have grown since grade nine. The big guy is going to try and knock you out. He isnt going to try and get you ina submission becasue its not a mma fight. its a street fight. Depending on how your wrestling is your could have a big advantage.
What i would do depending on how i feel squaring off. I would throw a few jabs but NOT GET IN CLOSE wait for him to start throwing back. BUT BE ALERT.. move around and once you have him felt out fake one and he will put his arms up and BAM go for his legs and he will fall. Now your on top and you want to stay on top BUT THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING. Your in a street fight and they dont last long. You MUST not burn all your energy.

If you want to be known as a bully yourself and become what your trying to avoid this is great advice.. If you want to be the bigger person and have more respect for yourself and get more respect from others listen to the adive that tells you to avoid the fight but be prepared if and when it does happen.

hey man if your a lot smaller also remeber that groin kicks are a good way to take a big mother f@cker down or at least destract him. I also am 145lb. and im fighting a big 250lb guy this summer but im not worryied becuase he is fat and also slow. those should be your advantages, but if hes buff it will be tougher for you.
I do suggest though that you watch some of royce gracies old fights when ufc first came out he fought guys that were much bigger than him all the time and he wipped the shit out of them.
