John Matua put it best: "A little guy can choke you out, break you arm or kick you in the head. There are only so many big guy moves."

Try and hit him harder because he's big. Get inside and just roll with him, but the best standing option is a quick elbow. With any luck, you cut him. Guys usually stop at the site of their own blood.

Still. Don't fight unless you have to.

I believe that I have some answers to your questions that others have not given you, but before I do, would you please answer my questions about this:
1.The police say that all anti-social acts require motive and opportunity.
My question:What is this "big guy's" motive for bothering you? Is there anyway that you could remove the problem at the source by removing his motivation? Do you owe him money? Are you and him competing for the affections of the same female? The same job? What is going on that this guy,as you say, won't quit?
2. Ditto opportunity: What is going on that you cannot avoid this dude? If it's at work, hostile workplace is a bad lawsuit your supervisors cannot ignore.Take your boss aside, aquaint with a list of dates and times when this dude has done his thing. If that doesn't end it,see a lawyer.Something will happen then, believe me:a multi-million dollar hostile workplace pop is a real ouch! no matter how deep your company's pockets are.
If it's at school: talk to the dean or the principal.
Same as the above. If it's on the streets on the way to work or to school, take out a restraining order: let him try breaking bad with a judge or breaking bad with the cops!
Respond to these questions and I'll give you a couple of pointers that the others hven't mentioned, fighting technique wise.

Thats some good advice right there, i know a fair bit of alot of fighting styles mainly Judo but people dont really respect me because i dont go around looking for fights i avoid them, if someone trys to bully and you dont want to fight dont saying anything back but the main thing is dont be scared or worse dont act scared.

And Michael Bolton shutup why would you bring a gun to a street fight? you are a typical example of an idiot and even dumber for expecting to shoot someone and get away with it why would you want to shoot someone anyway?

i like usual would agree with Judokas, but to a point this time....
i will walk from the talk of a fight, but you touch me.... i will lapel drag you right into my knee.
but the confidence and if they see you fear them not, makes a big diffrence. most will have nothing to do with you.

i agree with alot of these guys. Ive done some martial arts and MMA and the first thing you need to learn is to avoid the fight as much as possible. Talk to him and try and work it out. Even though i do some sanctioned fights, i think street fighting is so stupid. So try and work it out.

As far for advice, when your in a street fight its hard to plan anything. Your emotions and adrenaline are going crazy and most of the time you dont even know what your doing. Your training will come into play and help you out though so dont worry.

If the fight does happen and you put up a descent fight but still lose to a guy that much bigger than you. you will gain alot of respect. But try to avoid it at all costs

If he touches you then you smash him its hes fault but what i meant to say was that if he or she is trying to drag the other person into a fight i dont talk back and do nothing if they push me but if its more than a mere push i wont walk away but i am a held back person although i love MMA but if someone pushes(and tries to start something with you) and you hit them theres no problem with that, i just wont do that straight away.

You know, I still haven't gotten a response to what I see are really the central issues here:
a) Why is this "giant" after you in the first place? and
b) Why can't you just avoid him?
