Eagle vision

Does anybody use this when they spar? Or has this vision, it took me a month. For those who dont know what eagle vision or wide angle seeing, its like having a 360 field of awareness. You never use your focus sight.

this is the guy who made that post about being able to feel peoples energy and whatnot, right?

Yep thats him.

Sounds like you have discovered not having tunnel vision. Or you discovered you have peripheral vision. As for your 360 comment, you still can't see directly behind you no matter how much you try without turning to look so its not really 360.

well , if what you meant to say was having 180 degree vision without direct focus , there is such a concept. When you don't focus directly on something you are more relaxed because of the lack of tension and because of the fact that your mind isn't following it. Focusing with your eyes can actually unpleasantly lock them on whatever you are looking at.
I bought a weird little book called secret tactics , which is a compilation of many martial arts texts into one and there are many concepts of this method of not focusing directly on the sword or limb , in an effort to not have the mind follow it , because if the limb is performing deceptive motion , the mind will get tricked. That method is called kaden sho , something , can't remember.
