Pic and Video of me training

I've been training Muay Thai for around 5 months now and MMA for about 2. Just got my training partner to take a pic and a short video of me training. Hope you enjoy

your strikes generally look a bit sloppy but your boxing is by far the worst.

ya it didnt work for me either....one thing about ur pic though... a look where your hands are firstly...and b check your foot position...ur not jean claude van damme....every good fighter know that if u drop your hands like that on a kick ur gonna get knocked out.....as for your foot position..lets say he blocks your kick and comes at you...your hand arent up so he punches you in the face...since ur so off balance from where your feet are ur gonna get knocked down hardcore...just my two sense...i've only been in mma for a few months too...but thats like the basics man

video doesnt work for me either.

1. your base foot should be planted, not on your tips
2. your hands are offering you no protection
3. work on flexiblity
4. dont worry on kicking high when you have just started. it is way better to have a sturdy low kick than a sloppy high kick
5. keep training
6. props for trying

Your form on the kick does not look correct. The foot that is planted should be pivoted if you are going to kick high. This way the power comes from your hips not just your leg. I'm not even going to mention the position of your hands...Keep trying though..you'll get it right.

Haven't seen the video, but just based off of the pic I will say this:

Read this thread here right now. Also, concentrate on your form and control at lower levels first. Not everyone throws a High-Kick like Cro-Cop... Especially with only 5 months of training under their belt.

Good luck.

me neither, but from the pic you could use some work. i know you just started but you have to know that you always keep your hands up.
