Solar Plexus

I know this is a really specific question and probably irrelevant in a real fight, but are fat people as vulnerable to strikes to the solar plexus and liver? I know fat people don't fight but this particular fat fatty thinks he's tough and wants to learn a lesson. I've heard hitting fat kids in the gut knocks the wind out of them. Is this true? And if so is there any specific area or should I just aim for his buddha belly?

This might be a little late, since you said in your other thread "it's almost go time", but I'll comment anyway.

Muscle acts as better protection than fat. The biggest reason, I think, for the myth that fat people aren't affected by body shots is because most people don't strike with penetration. Most people (the untrained, anyway) will hit that top layer of fat, think they got a clean and damaging hit, and move on to their next shot. So if you're going to toss body shots, make sure you drive 'em home.

This is true north about driving your hand-strikes through.

Throughout life there are bumps along the way some may be painful...others not...who gives a damn in the end you'll still die
