+1 best purchase if you want to learn to hit the bag hard.

Nothing wrong with not using hand wraps its very good knuckle conditioning but i dont do it for very long and i use boxing gloves for a fair bit of time before i take them off.

I personally would never hit the bag really hard without wraps. Too much of a chance of injury and its not worth having to take a few weeks off. I've learned my lesson from many hand injuries from not wrapping.

if you got no money and cant find a cheap bag, just get some sands bags and fill them with clay and a mix of sand or dirt...easiest way with no money

i busted my hand up not using wraps, i did it with one punch on one of them super big fairtex bags, then had to sit out for 2 months..

i was walking out the gym and had the suudden urge to hit with out my wraps, and gloves. fired a straight right.. picked up my bag like nothing happened and went straight home to put some ice on it. i thought i broke it at first.

i guess you can build your knuckles by banging with no wraps, but i don't think you should lay into it. i belive knuckle conditioning should be done slow.

You ever tried that? A full-sized punch bag filed with sand and clay will be so heavy you can't lift it up. It will be hard to hang and if you can hand it there is a good chance that the fastenings will rip through the fabric of the bag.

My last bag was filled with bits of cut up carpet, and some other stuff to pad it out. It was still plenty heavy.
