Which one is used more in UFC/ street fights?

Gracie Jiu jitsu or Brazilian jiu jitsu? The Gracie Humaita or the Gracie Barra? And which one is better?

Both suck in street fights. In my opinion the rear naked choke is the only submission that will work. That said iv never been in a street fight and used JJ so i am speaking purely on opinion and not knowledge.

This^^

First rule of a street fight: Never go to the ground unless there are no people around or mostly just your friends around. I've only seen someone try a triangle and arm bar in a street fight. Both instances resulted in the person applying the triangle/arm bar getting kicked and stomped in the head.

I was involved in 4 street fights/ bar fights in 2011 and not once did I ever fight someone who used any form of JJ on me. Almost all of them were kept standing. So, boxing would be your answer.

I've watched countless street/bar fights as well and they are almost always kept standing. Unless I am fighting for my life I would rather keep it standing anyways, funner for both parties and as an amateur boxer I usually have the advantage.

Kickboxing/Muay Thai are the best by far in a street fight. Keep your hands up/chin tucked and try land the first big shot then Wanderlei Silva their ass.

Muay thai. Any BJJ is nearly useless in a streetfight. NHB means biting fish hooking small joint manipulation sharp objects multiple opponents all of which compromise BJJ skills.

I would advise you learn Muay Thai or boxing while being able to throw in some dirty tactics. I like muay Thai because of kicks elbows and knees.
