Peek-a-Boo Boxing Style Useful for MMA?

Is the Peek-a-Boo style useful for MMA? Basically it is an in-boxing style used by more compact boxers such as Mike Tyson. If you don't know what it is, google it up.

Will this style useful for a compact fighter to use against a lanky fighter. For example Rashad Evans Vs Jon Jones, will Rashad be better off employing this kind of strategy?

I was sparring one day and dude implemented the exact tactic. Thought it was pretty cool. Sure it works, why not...but if you get taken down you'll be playing peek a boo on the ground.

Marcus Aurelius: Tell me again, Maximus, why are we here?
Maximus: For the glory of the Empire, sire.

Baked, not fried... the healthy choice.
