Why do i only get adrenaline rush sometimes?
Like when i sparred with this huge amateur boxer i had no adrenaline rush. he whooped my @ss and i was even scared to take punches but other people were in the ring training too. But, when it's only me and another guy in one ring, then i get the adrenaline rush regardless of size. I'm not afraid to get hit and can take hits too. Why does this happen?

Maybe because you are too focussed on the other guys around you instead of the "scramble" you are in. Don't know..

Adrenaline rushes are interesting and sometimes just random. They don't always come when you need it but and sometimes they just don't come at all. It's a matter of how well you know your body.

I'd say it's mostly inexperiance. Give it time. Practice your breathing. I don't want adrenaline when I'm sparring. I'm there to learn. I want to be relaxed. But then again, I'm at the point where taking a punch doesn't scare me. Kind of think getting into a good exchange clears the head and makes me more aware.

I actually don't mind adrenaline rushes actually.
