Reason I say do a compound movement first and I personally wouldnt recommend doing bicepts and tricepts, is because your first exercise is always your best assuming you are putting in 100% effort.

If ur just going for defined arms so u can pose in a tight white armless shirt then go for it. Compound exercises will make you more powerful though.
Sorry, I kind of just glanced at your post. Your right on about the compound movements. Good to add strength and more muscle mass.

I dont really see any problem with working out any group of muscles seperate. I know my way of training is different than most because I work out everything the same day. I dont overwork myself and I'm not saying my way is better. My way is just the best for me, but I still dont think working your biceps and triceps on the same day is wrong, I mean shoot, I do one after the other... lol hope that helps.

I do Biceps with Back one day and then Chest and Triceps another day, then Shoulders, Neck and Legs the last.

I also do abs every day

it doesnt really matter if u train them on the same day as they are two diffrent muscles but i would train the triceps first as it hinders me when i dont.

what do you mean the sherdog of training sites? because this forum is the one over-run with teens, not sherdog
