You take a short (say 25-30- or 40 yard distance) run to that as fast as you can. (ie, there is a million bucks sitting there fast) then catch your breath for a sec or w/e, repeat

say one might do, 3 sets of 5 sprints or 5 of 5 w/e the hell you like, lol

I practice on play grounds at night, that are well lit. Since the bark helps asorb the impact. The first time I practiced at a play ground was during the day, and some of the kids saw me and tryed to do what I was doing..... Well that didn't go over well.

We have some parks here with structure set up on the running trail for people to workout on, like stuff like to do sit ups, polymetrics, stretching, parallel bars, those are great to for beginning parkour training.
