If you work it first, your muscle will be at it's fullest and you'll be able to push it the hardest. It's always best to put whatever workout/muscle/exercise you really are looking to improve at the start of your routine for this same reason
Yeah, I've done that with curls for quite a while. If I do them anywhere else in my workout, I'm gassed.
