Id suggest cutting after u have made some gains in the gym, eat regularly and not too many chips and greens with every meal.

Im sure others will have some different suggestions.

Do circuit training and body wieght excercises, these will hopefully get your heart pumping and help you gain strength. Add resistance like free weights or bands, you can also do running in order to help shed your body fat and excess water wieght.

Cutting weight and gaining muscle at the same time is difficult as its counter productive. Make sure you keep up a good weight training regime and do alot of cardio to. Suppliments will help alot with this, u want something that will reduce fat e.g. thermobol and something else that will keep up and help u gain muscle e.g. progain, my mates taking that combination and its workin well for him.

As for reconmending u a workout, that would take a long time and alot of info from u, i suggest researching other sites and creagting your own cos i dont think anyones gunna do it for you.

do not cut weight without a professional

plyometrics might help but is dangerous when done improperly...

So Do I need to eat like I'm cutting or bulking? my main goal is to lose about 9% bf and increase my strength.

if you want to lose bf and gain strength do HIGH weight LOW rep COMPOUND lifts(deadlifts, squats, OHP, dips, etc). Also, stay away from machines, free weights are the only way to go

if you can afford it, get a kettlebell and do KB swings, it works the whole body and is awesome for weight loss and strength and cardio, if your in the UK I got mine cheap from Newitts

with regular weight/resistance training, you will naturally get stronger and end up getting leaner. It's all about what you put into your body, and how you train it. Don't train harder, train smarter
