military press or powercleans

sorry i posted this twice but the title wouldnt change to the one i have now, so if the moderator could please delete the other one or someone can let me know what to do next time.
I found a workout i want to do that really works core muscles, but it doesnt have anything about militiary presses. So i was wondering if i do powercleans since it will basically have a military press in it anyways, do i need to have a day that is just for military press? oh one more thing. is it ok to do pushups and pullups everyday?

Cleans? Or clean and jerks? I think military press is very important, and you should do both. Push ups and pull ups are fine to do every day, but I wouldn't suggest doing weighted pull ups only 1-2x per week.

forget military altogether, its a bad exercise in general, and can be really damaging to you back. doing handstands and handstand push ups is much much better. keep the power cleans in too.

Sir, that is not true about military press. Any exercise can be dangerous if done improperly.

I second the handstand push ups though.

The thing to avoid with military press is spinal compression.

If you're body is behind the bar, you're fine. If the bar is directly above your head or that idiotic "behind the back" crap, then you got trouble.

Any movement done for enough reps is going to cause you problems.

The pushup and pullup are both internal rotating movements on the shoulder leading to a very unbalanced shoulder. This will cause problems.

The other thing to consider is how easily you can do them. If you go for a fatiguing set every day, this will also lead to overtraining over time, assuming no breaks. Going for them everyday seems a bit extreme, so I wonder why you would do that?
