the hour before and after trainin

what is your routine before and after when training your muscles?
i have my cyclone 20 mins before then 5 minuets before i have a jog then start on my weights, after every set i have a can of energy drink like lucozade or redbull and at the end when iv finished i have another drink of my cyclone and then another 5 min run.
then a long soak in bubble bath to relax

how about yourself?
do you drink anything that seems to give you the edge when training like me drinking my energy drinks?

Is a can of energy drink between each set necessary??? As dangerous as the drinks are for your health I would imagine its kinda a bit much. But before my weights I have a serving of muscle milk. After the weights I go for a jog and then shower and have some whey.

I eat a good 1.5 2 hours before I start my workout. I strength train monday wednesday and friday. I start by doing 30 minutes on the heavy bag then a 2-3 mile run depending on how I feel that day followed by 30 minutes on the elliptical. After that I grab free weights and do various excercises with those. Then I stretch on the mat and go home. At home another 30 minutes on the heavy bag then shower. I recommend not eating right after a workout, leave atleast 30-45minutes before you eat. Also to avoid injury and help flexibility and ease of lifting I wear sweats at all times just to keep myself loose and warm.

You should be ingesting some whey protein directly before or after your workout, then have a good healthy meal with veggies, fast digesting carbs, and some protein about an hour or two after your workout.
