There is more to a song then the lyrics. You can hear the lyrics to metal songs, you just only know metal by stereotype, and have yet to actually listen to metal.
Kotton mouth kings work well. Hatebreed is amazing for a pumped workout but its heavy metal. The lyrics are alot clearer than most metal songs and there pretty good lyrics.
Hatebreed is pure hardcore metal, a good song is To The Threshold. Throwdown as well, I recommend a song called False Idols. Makes me want to kill something! Tune and a half that is.
The Prodigy - No Good
The Prodigy - Voodoo People
The Prodigy - Poison
All on the same album too, Music for the Jilted Genration. Not metal, more like Industrial Techno. Though those songs are more dancy, some of the other stuff on that album is more Industrial-ish.
LAMB OF GOD!!! The Ashes of the Wake album makes me want to kick random people. And Event though they are metal band, Randy Blythe's screaming is pretty easy to understand.:cool03:
can never go wrong with metallica to get you amped, also cowboys from hell from pantera is a great one, and if you like any rap at all an awesome amp song is fight song from D12
As tacky as this may sound...professional wrestling music is the way to go. If anyone has ever heard any of Kurt Angle's theme songs they would get pumped up too.
Have to agree on the Tool; also listen to Godsmack and picked up some albums called 'Covered in Metal'. Theyre a lot of classics that have been covered by lesser known Metal bands, very cool and fun to listen to. Oh yeah, another new favorite is a project called Avantasia...they have an album called Scarecrow, sweet workout tunes!
Well, I am also looking for my songs to get pumped but here are a few I have.
- Dmx: Where The Hood At
- Drop Dead, Gorgeous: The Show Must Go On
- System Of A Down: Sugar
- Pitbull Ft Lil John: The Anthem
- Xzibit: Beware Of Us
- Kurt Angle: Theme Song
