They'll also get a little bit of work doing military presses, or any other time that you're raising your shoulders. But shrugs really are your go-to exercise for them.

Stvfetterly has a little shameless behaviour in the past
I find that cleans give the traps some workout as well as the other exercises mentioned here.

OMG YES!!! i've just started doing some hardcore circuits with a lot of power cleans and hang cleans....dude i can't even lift my arms over my head cuz my traps hurt sooo bad....never thought it would work them like that lol
