When you lift at night, You go to sleep and although part of you is shut down your muscles are still working and you don't get as good sleep as if you didn't sleep but lifting at night is better then not lifting at all.

It really doesn't matter at all. I have a bodybuilding background so I've had my fair share of weight-training, and recently, I'm becoming quite the cardio-machine. People say this time is the best or that time is the best...........all in all.........Listen to your body and it will let you know what works for you.

not as important as your diet and workout routine. what are your goals and stats?

look at the 2 more important factors, checkmark?

but really, just factor it into your daily routine.

i pefer working out at night since i still have school and wake up at 6 am and come back home by 3 and have shit loads of work. I dunno tho, it helps me sleep better since i'm usually not tired by the time i go to sleep.
