tottaly agree. Plus if you enter a tournament your gonna fight guys in your weight class anyway.

you should do exercises like pull ups, push ups, sit ups, squots, and stretch out alot. power does not come from lifting weights but exercising with your own body weight as the resistance. that way you become much stronger than the average 145 lbs. fighter. because you know how to deal with that weight.an allways work on your technique.

i know what your talking about. i'm a girl so i mostly have to train with dudes. i'm cool with this since i'm in pretty good shape but most dudes just weigh more than me so naturally they have an advantage. in a way this is good though since if i fight in my own weight class i'll have an edge since i train with bigger guys. if you want you could lift to get bigger but if they're like 180+ they will probally still be able to overpower you. i would'nt worry cause when you compete you'll fight other guys who weigh 145 not 180.
