the core/ good abs
Well since before x mas ive started to work out and do BJJ and am happy to say ive lost just around 30 pounds. My question is and i know its been asked before how to i get a more muscular stomach area.
im doing situps, side bends, running, twist, etc.
I also am eating rather healthy, no pop just water and a glass or two of skim milk every day.
oatmeal for breakfast, and lots of chicken for dinner and lunch along with some kind of veggie.
any suggestions for how to get more noticable abs. or do i still need to cut more weight.
oh yea this might help right now im 6 foot tall and down to 200 pounds.
Diet is most important, then you should do things like cardio, and some assorted ab exercises, such as saxon side bends, russian twists, turkish get ups, OH squats w/ the bar, leg raises, etc.
Well i guess i'm on my way been doing the cardio and situps some sort of boxers twist, leg raises and leg presses, just need to figure out how to do the saxon side bends.
Use more weight though ;)
I have no Idea how or why but the good old $5 ab wheel has always ripped me up more then situps, leglifts, etc..:dunno:
well i'm doing a test for abs, i'll post em when i'm done, probably after march break, since school starts again then
but basically i'm doing
cross leg crunches
side to side crunches
reach and touch
started with 25 each 5 times a day
with an additional 100 decline pushups once or twice
lose more weight dude.
and stop with cardio, if you are doing any. do hiit (high intensity interval training) for every excerccise you do.
