Pick up some cheap resistance bands, tie them round your head and attach them to something. Then nod your head away to your hearts content.

You have to be careful with weights on your neck though, you can really mess it up. I have one of those thing I got from title boxing, its great but sometimes i get some terrible pains.

http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/exer...ainMuscle=Neck

I know its bodybuilding.com but I think neck exercises are kind of generic, some please correct me if I'm wrong, the first two exercise are just pushing against your neck and tightening you muscles to resist it, and they have some weighted ones.

I heartily accept the motto, "That government is best which governs least"; and I should like to see it acted up to more rapidly and systematically.

Lie in a sit-up position an bring your head off the mat (only your head) and turn your head from side to side for a while then bring it to your chest then lower.

That really gets my neck working.

I saw David Coulthard (Formula One driver) give an interview once where he was talking about different ways to exercise the neck. I'm guessing that because of the different G-forces involved in Motorsport, having strong neck muscles can be beneficial.

..anyways, he was saying how he would wrap those ankle weight things you can wear while running around the top of the head, then overhang his head from something, and basically do 'head-ups' as opposed to 'sit-ups'. He would do this on his back, belly and on both sides to work all the muscles around the neck, and Im sure he said something about doing it really slowly and non-jerky as it is so easy to damage the joints in the neck this way!

BEST ADVICE.

NECK BRIDGES.

Do em at all angles. start out using your hands. then slowly advance to no hands. this is the best way to make your neck muscles (upper trapezius) stronger without hurting or straining them

If you have a friend, try resisting a tai clinch. My neck is killing me after doing that for an hour and a half.
