I need more back strength and muscle

i need more back strength and more back muscle. What should I do?

i love the stiff leg dead lift for the back might not make you look bigger but when you picking something up i believe it helps. also supermans i find are great exersise for when you dont have weights.

the lats pull ups are the best weights lat pull down and pull over also works the chest.

remember work your lower back not just the upper. i believe the lowerback very often over looked.

Work out every muscle in your back from hamstrings all the way to your traps. But if I could give you 3 main excersises for back str it would be

1 deadlifts
2 close grip pull downs
3 hamstrings(they aid in your back str... esspecially for picking up)

I do pull ups with a wide arm spacing seems to be working.

close grip pulls barely work the back you need to do them WIDE!

I suggest lots of heavybag work. I also suggest doing some work with resistance bands while training striking.
