Alright fellas new member! Already have a quick question.

I have been doing MMA training for about a month now. Before that I was a gym rat/muscle head. I was pretty strong, and thats all I wanted to do is lift until I finally started MMA training. Since I have started I haven't lifted a weight. Now, my question is, I want to continue weight lifting, but I don't want to become to muscle bound where I can't do my MMA training right. I was just wondering what a good weight routine/split would be to get my strong, but also not lose my flexibility or get to muscle bound. Thanks all in advance.

Having teh big gunz doesn't reduce your flexibility as long as you're stretching before and after you lift. Outside of that I'd recommend adding high-volume high-intensity lifting and anaerobic cardio to whatever you're already doing in order to improve your endurance.

"I don't want them to like me, because when I'm in the ring, punches fly to the face. It is not a tenderness time. I am not falling in love. And he knows that when the fight starts I am kicking faces."

Do compound lifts with heavy weights and low reps, and work on moving the weight explosively and fast. Another good idea is to work on muscular endurance with both circuits/complexes. If I were you I'd do a 2 day split like this:

Day One:
Power Cleans 8x2
Speed deadlifts 5x3
BORs 3x5
Chins 5x5

Day Two:
Front squats 6x3
Push Press 7x2
Weighted dips 5x5
GoodMornings 3x8

What a stud

How was your cardio? Did you focus on Mass or strength.
