How far will this get me?

I currently do freeweight curls with a 20 pund dumbell and do around 10-15 push-ups before, during and after i curl. How many times should i curl the dumbell and how far will this routing take me in terms of growin my biceps and triceps?

You might also want to do something that hits the triceps directly like triceps extensions behind your head.

Everybody good, plenty of slaves for my robot colony?

Since it sounds like you don't have a lot of options in terms of weights, I'd try to supplement it with a few other body-weight exercises- find a place to do pull-ups (pronated to hit your lats), squats, and maybe some situps or plank exercises to keep your abs strong. Hindu Pushups are also a good exercise that hits a lot of muscle groups.

But are you trying to do MMA or some other sport, or just trying to get in shape?

Your game plan sucks. Trade those curls in for chin ups, and do squats. Do this every day for your workout:

Squats - 5x5
Chin ups - 5x5
Dips - 5x5

Go!

What a stud

i hear ya on the arm building part, but what you're going to see if you don't do other exercises is uneven development which will make your body look weird. at the very least you should do the pull-ups and situps as well, so the girl doesn't feel let down when you take off your shirt and have a jellybelly and no lats. and if you can find a place with dip bars, those are great for your arms and lower pecs.

If you dont have access to a dip bar use two chairs. Also, just focusing on your arms is a bad call, as HexRei said. Do any body weight exercise you can so you don't look like a goofy frat boy. Youtube bodyweight exercises and there is some amazing stuff on there. But even dynamic pushups and towel pushups and what not with hit more muscles then curls.

I heartily accept the motto, "That government is best which governs least"; and I should like to see it acted up to more rapidly and systematically.
