Beginning to work out

My brother is 14 and wrestles. Kid is going to take some mma lessons and is getting into weight lifting. here's a workout plan he made. yousendit.com/download/WnBTWUhtRStuSlNGa1E9PQ for a beginner. is this good for starting strength? Or should he go right for the workout style of a fighter which is very all around?

If he's 14 then, just doing Bench press, and Squats will be okay.

He is still growing, and use very light weights. Also, consult doctor and coach. Before training.

If trained improperly he could damage his growth plates, stunting his over all growth.
