is it normal

hey the other day i was doing some bag work and the next day my nuckles were bruised and the middle of my hands hurt everytime im puch again. is it normal for them to hurt and if it is,is it gonna make them stronger or am i doing something wrong?

(Feel free to diagree anybody) but, I have had that before, it hurts reallll bad, but after it heals it seems like you can punch harder. I have huge knuckles now (from being drunk and punching shit like brick walls). I have read it can really damage your nerves and knuckles, so pay attention to that, I may just be lucky. But honestly, despite all known knowledge, I would say punch hard shit and **** up your knuckles, it will heal on their own and make it stronger. On the other side, don't listen to me dude, who knows more, me or doctors?!

I'm glad I could give you an 100% answer.
