biceps and triceps differences?

First off I was wandering which each one did in there direct function. Having your triceps bigger then your biceps a bad thing? Also how to try and find a blance between them?

If your biceps are bigger than your triceps you suck. As far as what they do, triceps are more involved in pushing movements, whereas biceps are used more in pulling movements.

You don't want to balance them out, you want to keep working them both. If you want big arms you are going to need to work your triceps, it's half of your upper arm. It's definately not gonna look out of place at all. Some people just do curls all day and wonder why there arm isn't growing. Triceps, very important.
