Medicine balls have also helped me with my workouts. I also lift weights and do running.
Medicine ball workouts.
1. play catch -helps me and other teamates of my mma class keep control of heavy weight.
2.sit-ups -sit-ups with a medicine ball require you to sit-up,pass the ball to your partner,go down and your partner drops it into ur hands.
3.sit-up drop-lay down and let the ball hit your stomach then grab it and sit back up,this helps you get accustomed to pain(punches)and builds strength.
those are some of the exercises i use, they are very helpful.
