Personal Trainer or selff training

Hey all.

My question is would personal training be Recommended for someone to start up a strength and conditioning program.

Personal trainers are not cheap so what would you say?

And if so how long should I keep a personal trainer and than workout on my own with what he tells me?

i think you should ask people who know something about mma in real life if you know any friends. if not use the computer. personally i would have a personal trainer for some time then i would work by myself. (if you got a lot of money get a personal trainer for a lot longer)

Not read that book but have read training for warriors by martin rooney which I found usefull. And as a personal trainer Im hoping that I am the 1% who is not a moron but then since I run my own studio and dont work out of a gym maybe thats where Im different!!

Does the book training for warriors have a good strength training program?

The book covers everything from warm ups, stretching, strength training and cardio. It has strength exercises for each muscle group and includes sample routines.

I heard most of them get their personal training certs online..fail.

I would recommend getting someone whether it be a friend or PT to at least teach you proper form.
