wasting time doing targeted work outs?
so am i wasting time doing these extra excersizes... i dont know what their called.. but u know those ones that target a small area so u can look good.. like the body builders.
my friend weighs 125 and can bench 290 wow! and all he does is core excersizes like bench, curls, deadlift, and maybe some tricept work outs.. he only spends like 20 minutes in the gym and twice a week.. but some of his reps he does he goes for max.
me on the other hand do 2-3 different excersizes for each major body part.. and im not even close to how strong he is.. stupid magazines say do this and that but i guess its not for strength more for gay bodybuilding competitions.. should i just do core excercizes only and not waste my time doing extra work outs??? meaning, bench,deadlift,sqauts,curls,tri's
