What Non-Weights Exercises Can Help Me Gain Muscle/Get In Shape?

I want to put on some muscle and I haven't really used weights much so I want to get myself prepared before I start properly using them. So I was wondering what exercises not involving weights can help me get in shape? Furthermore, how many of each exercise should I do on a daily basis? Thanks!

My fav exercises are; pushups, situps, squats & pullups.

Pushups & pullups will do a lot for your upper body and there's plenty of variations to keep you from getting bored.

I pretty much only do the basic squats but every once in a while i'll lean against a wall and hold for as long as possible or do some lunges.

When i first started I aimed to do at least 100 pushups, situps & squats in a day so that might be a good starting point. Or, you can check out this site which aims to help you get to 100 consecutive pushups (instead of just 100 total). They also have a page for squats, situps & pullups and they offer a training program to follow.

I was able to pull it off tonight, after it was suggested unto me.

Walk yourself up into a hand-stand and do body pushups.

I was only able to do 2 of these but they will help.

do broadjumps until your legs burn so bad you have to stop - use your arms, back, abs and legs to jump as far as you can - full body burn.

pretty much what has been mentioned above is great. Pushups, pullups and squats are all great. Leg lifts are also really good for your abs.
