I ran track in high school and almost ran in college(i decided drinking was more fun). What do you run? I kept motivated because I liked the competition when it came time to race.

run outside (if you usually run on a treadmill). The best thing about running outside is that you may run for 15 minutes or whatever and then get bored, well you still have to run (or at least walk) back to wherever you started. [edit]Whereas if you are on a treadmill, then when you get bored you can just get off and go home, very easily too.[/edit]
