Because he already won the grand prix. It will be him and Nogueira in the finals. No, it won't be a Crocop and Silva fight like you wanted. Nogueira could easily beat Wanderlei and has already made Crocop tap out. Barnett could get Silva on the ground just like Hunt and make him a turtle and tap him out. Barnett would TKO Crocop don't bother asking its pretty obvious. Then in the finals Barnett beats Nogueira. Then when he fights Fedor, Fedor is screwed. No chance for Fedor in this one. Guys who are strikers who fight Barnett get owned pretty bad. Fedor on his back is a turtle and coward like Hunt but has a lot of health. But Barnett will end him in the second round by TKO or submission just like he did to Couture. Get Barnett his belt already.

Seeing as how the semis are CC/Wanderlei and Barnett/Nog. Barnett/Nog is definitely not going to be the finals. CC has already beaten Barnett TWICE, so saying Barnett is going to beat him is just ridiculously stupid. Since when has Fedor been a striker? Oh, and CC beating Barnett twice should end your little argument of "guys who are strikers who fight Barnett get owned pretty bad." Yeah. And saying Fedor has "no chance" is even more ridiculously stupid than the CC statement because Fedor has dominated EVERYONE he's ever fought (minus his early career). Lastly, you probably haven't seen many Fedor fights if you're going to compare his guard game to Hunt's.

I am sorry but barnett is not even going to get by nog. Nog has cleaner stand up, better cardio, and a better ground game. Josh has size and strength on his side but thats about it.
