Desktop or Laptop

I'm thinking of buying a new computer for college but dont know what to get. I'll be using it for games, Word the usual stuff. I was thinking of getting a laptop/notebook to save space but didnt know if i would be best with a desktop for the hard drive and RAM.

Any suggestions on decent computers or what type i should choose.

Laptops are too weak. Unless you want to spend over $2000.

i agree with him... u can always buy ram for ur laptop... but i would go with a good desktop.....i has the same situation but i got a desktop...if u want to bring ur comp to school and stff get a laptop they are deff good for their mobility.... but if that dosent matter to you then get a desktop... they look good as a addition in your room or where ever eheheheh

My Top 10:
Lyoto Machida
Aleks E
Josh Barnett
Big Nog
BJ Penn
Anderson Silva
Cro Cop Musosi and bada hari

Let me just say, I hate laptops with a passion. You pay so much more money for them but they SUCK! All the ones I've used, they get so hot you can't have them on your lap or they burn you. I always have problems with the touchpad mouse, it sucks and it's hard to use and worst of all if they get to overheated they'll shut down. Honestly, better off going with a Desktop and putting a new videocard in it and what not, it'll still come out cheaper and better than a laptop.
