The Pirate Browser

For those who live in a country where Big Brother decides what websites you should have access to, like North Korea and um the UK.

No more searching for proxies or having to use a VPN.

How does it feel to be on a list with North Korea?

I'll definitely do some research on this browser though, pretty sure both my government and Google know too much about me already.

Just tested it and it doesn't, connects to the Pirate Bay though. It uses the TOR network (the dark web), which I'm pretty sure you can configure to access US stuff.

I use VPN to access US sites, such as netflix. I also use it to access stuff like for mma streams, since that site has recently been blocked in the UK too.

I knew once The Pirate Bay had been blocked in the UK the Media Industry would push for more sites to be blocked.

How long before the Media companies decide what we can view and what we can't?

The browser circumvents site-blocking in countries including, according to the Pirate Bay Web site, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Iran, Ireland, Italy, North Korea and the United Kingdom. This allows users to access some websites otherwise blocked, usually by government ban or threat of legal action, by Internet Service Providers (ISPs) in these countries.
