How To Burn Mpegs and Avis To DVD's Using Nero

I did not make this. I thought I would post it to help people out.

I have Nero 7 so if you dont have Nero 6/7 than you might not be able to follow this. You will also need NeroVision as well to burn DVDs.

Add the files you want. They can be avis or mpegs. Nero will convert the files later to DVD/ISO files.

The files I have added are only 177MB but once converted they are 240MB.
Name your DVD. In this case I've named it Music Videos.

In this case each video will be it's own chapter. You can change the chapter settings if it is one file. You can look into that.

This is what you main menu page will look like.

Click Burn To... and tell Nero where you want the output file. Click Recording Settings and adjust them to your preference.
Click Burn. Depending on the speed of your computer this may take a couple of hours or half a day. Nero will convert the files to DVD/ISO files then burn them to your blank DVD.

Thanks for this but I still have a real problem. The quality of the menu screen is always horrific, I have tried like 10 different things and wasted 10 different discs.

For example I use up 1.78gb on a 4gig+ disc, and it says the quality will be excellent. The video quality is alright considering how it is on my computer, but the menu's I always make always are extremely pixalated. Any help please?

It might depend on the quality of the software you're using.

it's the nero software from above, the compression size is great thats why I dont like using other programs as I can create ideal dvds on 1 dvd disc with nero, but with other software the file size increases massively

could you reccomend me some great software please?

No lets say pride fighting decade is 1.38gig, I burn that on 1 4.7 gig disc. It says the quality will be excellent. I work on the menus and such and when I try the real dvd the menus become extremely pixilated, the video quality is great though. So I am confused :/
